NGH Civils Ltd recognise under the health and safety at Work Act 1974 its responsibility to health and safety. So has produced an in depth policy together with method statements, risk assessments and COSHH assessments which is available on request.
Environmental Policy Statement
NGH Civils Ltd is committed to working in such a way as to have a minimal impact on the environment. We are constantly open to new ideas and suggestions for improving our current adverse impact, so our environmental policy is constantly developing.
It is our policy to:
- Comply with all relevant environmental legislation, regulations and requirements.
- Reuse resources whenever possible rather than dispose of them.
- Be committed to constantly learning about how we can further improve our environmental practices/resource efficiency plus methods to measure the success of these.
- Reduce noise pollution.
- Utilise building materials that are either recyclable or from sustainable sources
- Making use of opportunities to minimise waste and to reuse or recycle materials.
- Reducing the use of natural resources (gas, electricity, water, vehicle fuel, gas oil, oils and paper).
- Our policy is regularly reviewed, keeping abreast of and ensuring compliance with, all applicable legislation, regulations and Codes of Practice which relate to our environmental aspects.
